The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art (PMC) is a research centre and educational charity committed to promoting original, world- class research into the history of British art and architecture of all periods. The PMC has recently undergone major expansion to support its growing academic activities. As such, the opportunity has arisen for an organised, efficient and proactive Finance Officer to join their Finance team.
Working closely with the Finance & Administration Officer and reporting to the Deputy Director for Finance & Administration, this person will be responsible for the Centre’s daily bookkeeping and financial duties to ensure the efficient operation and processing of all finance matters. This busy role will suit an experienced Finance Officer who has a professional, focussed attitude with an ability to use their initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
Hours of work: Part-time: Three days per week, Wednesday to Friday (21 hours per week).
Salary: £32,500 - £37,500 per annum (FTE) pro rata for 3 days/week, depending on experience.
