The editors of British Art Studies will be taking part in the Fair Dealing: Theory and Practice series of events by hosting a discussion at the Paul Mellon Centre on the 22 November entitled 'Policy into Practice: Implementing Fair Dealing for image copyright at British Art Studies'.

The Fair Dealing series is a programme of workshops, screening and conference which will facilitate a unique exploration of fair dealing as it affects academics and practictioners working with the still and moving image.

'Policy into Practice: Implementing Fair Dealing for image copyright at British Art Studies' will be a discussion between the BAS editors about their Fair Dealing policy which allows BAS to be one of the few completely open access jorunals in the field of art history. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr Leslie Topp, Head of History of Art at Birkbeck and will be followed by a drinks reception.
