Autumn 2021 Funding Recipients Announced

Congratulations to the recipients of Paul Mellon Centre awards in the autumn 2021 round of funding. A total of 188 applications were received, of which 51 were successful. The full list of awards made can now be read online here.

The next round of funding opportunities are currently open for applications, with a closing date of 31 January 2022. This round includes the Senior Fellowships, Mid-Career Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships, Junior Fellowships, Research Support Grants and Event Support Grants. Applications are also open for the Rome Fellowship which pays for an individual to spend three months based at the British School at Rome to study a topic of British-Italian art history and also the Archives & Library Fellowship which is an award of £10,000 to support an individual in using the Centre’s Archive and Library Collections to explore an aspect of the development of art history as a discipline in the UK in the 20th century.
