We are delighted to announce that the Paul Mellon Centre is taking part in the first ever Bedford Square Festival taking place between Wednesday 28 June and Saturday 1 July.

Bedford Square Festival will open the doors of the cultural and educational organisations located in the Square to the public through an exciting programme of thirty free events including talks, walking tours, film screenings, workshops and more. All the events are free (apart from Shakespeare in the Squares performance) and can be booked through the Festival website.

The Paul Mellon Centre is hosting eight events during the festival including a talk from Director Mark Hallett on 'Hogarth and the City', a Research & Writing Workshop for Students, a video live stream of the Yale Center for British Art and a 'Bloomsbury Group Breakfast' talk by Hana Leaper. These can all be booked on the website.

Bedford Square Festival is a collaborative event between five of the institutions that reside on Bedford Square - Paul Mellon Centre, Architectural Association, Sotheby's Institute of Art, New College of Humanities and Yale University Press.
