Two PMC books shortlisted for the Berger Prize

We are delighted to announce that two Paul Mellon Centre publications have been included in the shortlist for the William MB Berger Prize for British Art History 2017.

William Hogarth: A Complete Catalogue of the Paintings by Elizabeth Einberg and The American School: Artists and Statuse in the Late Colonial and Early National Era by Susan Rather are amongst the six other publications vying for the prize.

The William MB Berger Prize for British art History is awarded each year to celebrate 'outstanding achievement in the history of British art' and is administered by The British Art Journal.
