Take a look at how British Sculpture was promoted and received abroad in the post-war world. The first collection of essays in the special issue of British Art Studies look at how Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and other leading British Sculptors were perceived across the world from 1945 -1960.
These initial essays include: 'Henry Moore's Exhibition in Yugoslavia, 1955' by Želimir Koščević and 'British Sculpture Exhibited at the Venice Biennale after the Second World War, and its Impact on the Work of Italian Sculptors' by Emanuela Pezzetta.
