Nicholas Hilliard shortlisted for the Slightly Foxed Best First Biography Prize

The Paul Mellon Centre publication Nicholas Hilliard: Life of an Artist by Elizabeth Goldring has been shortlisted for the Slightly Foxed Best First Biography Prize 2019.
The prize is designed to showcase new talent in the field of biography writing and is awarded by Slightly Foxed and the Biographers' Club. The judges this year include Suzi Feay, Maggie Fergusson and Jonathan Keates, the winner is due to be announced on 10 March 2020.
