Following a growth in staff numbers and activities in recent years, the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art is looking to expand its Human Resources team with a new Officer role. The Human Resources Officer will work closely with the Centre’s Human Resources Manager in the delivery of a professional and proactive HR service to the Centre’s staff. The job will involve a varied mixture of day-to-day operational HR activities, together with work assisting on key HR projects; these include a review of all of the Centre’s HR Policies and Procedures and the development of initiatives arising from our new Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
The Centre is looking for someone who is confident and comfortable in helping to provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff in accordance with HR best practice, and who can work flexibly and independently to meet deadlines and priorities.
Salary will be in the range £28,000 to £32,000 p.a. (Pro rata for 28 hours per week)
