Job Vacancy: Events Manager (Parental Leave Cover)

The Paul Mellon Centre is looking for an experienced Events Manager to run, oversee and administrate the Centre’s busy programme of events for a maximum of 12 months, beginning Monday, 22 March 2021.
The busy events programme is aimed at researchers and members of the public interested in the history of British art and architecture, and includes conferences, seminars, talks, book launches and an annual arts festival. The role is high-profile and public-facing and therefore the Centre is seeking a professional and extremely capable person to provide cover and who will be the main representative for all the events.
Salary will be in the range of £33,000–£35,000 p.a. depending on experience. The post is full time, and the hours of work are 35 per week. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all Paul Mellon Centre events are being held online and this role will be carried out remotely during this time. Normally, the Events Manager is based at the Centre’s premises in Bedford Square in Central London.
