New Advisory Council Members

The Paul Mellon Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members of the Fellowships and Grants Advisory Council.

Dorothy Price is incoming Professor of History of Modern and Contemporary Art and Critical Race Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. She is editor of Art History journal where she has pursued an editorial vision that centralises art historical engagement and thinking around decolonisation and critical race. She is a specialist in modern and contemporary art with a particular interest in German modernism and Black British art.

Mark Sealy OBE is Executive Director of Autograph ABP (1991) and Principal Research Fellow: Decolonising Photography at University of the Arts London. Sealy is a core member of the Photography Archive Research Centre at London College of Communication. He is interested in the relationship between photography and social change, identity politics, race and human rights. He has produced numerous artist publications, curated exhibitions, and commissioned photographers and filmmakers worldwide. Sealy was also awarded the 2021 Photography Book Award for Sunil Gupta: From Here to Eternity.
