Announcing The Next Public Lecture Course

Following on from the recent successful online Public Lecture Courses, Ceramics in Britain and Georgian Provocations, the Paul Mellon Centre is pleased to announce the next course in the series, Artist in Focus: William Hogarth.

Convened by Mark Hallett, Meredith Gamer and Elizabeth Robles, the six lectures in the series will serve as an introduction to Hogarth and his most noted works – including A Harlot's Progress, Gin Lane and The Four Stages of Cruelty.

The series will run from 8 April to 13 May with lectures being released every Thursday at 3pm. The series will conclude with a live Q&A event on 20 May where the panellists will answer questions via a Zoom webinar.
