PMC Collections Data Now Searchable Alongside Yale Collections
- 7 October 2024
As of September, the Paul Mellon Centre’s (PMC) archive and library records are searchable via Yale University’s LUX platform.
LUX is a groundbreaking digital platform that makes Yale’s vast museum, library, and archival collections freely available to all online. The service enables users to identify, access, and engage with items of interest within Yale’s physical and digital collections. It also highlights lateral connections between collections, enabling users to discover related materials.
Originally launched in 2023 to encompass the many collections held at Yale, LUX has recently expanded to include the PMC’s materials concerning British art and architecture of all periods. Users of LUX can therefore compound and expand their research between various collections both in New Haven and here in London, broadening the scope of their research.
LUX’s search function is freely available to all, with material also accessible via Google’s search function. Visit LUX for yourself here.
