PMC Publications and Grants Recipients Shortlisted for Awards

Steven Brindle's Architecture in Britain and Ireland, 1530–1830 has been nominated for Book of the Year at the Apollo Awards 2024 and is shortlisted for the Berger Prize along with Tom Young’s Unmaking the East India Company: British Art
and Political Reform in Colonial India, c.1813–1858.
Architecture in Britain and Ireland, 1530–1830 has also been shortlisted for the Alice Davis Hitchcock Medallion along with Finola O’Kane’s Landscape Design and Revolution in Ireland and the United States, 1688–1815.
Two projects we have supported through our grants programme have also been nominated for the Apollo Awards. The Royal Academy of Arts exhibition Entangled Pasts, 1768–now: Art, Colonialism and Change, supported by a Curatorial Research Grant has been nominated for Exhibition of the Year and Iris Moon's book Melancholy Wedgwood, supported by a Publication Grant, has been nominated for Book of the Year. The award ceremony is due to take place later on in November, with winners announced shortly afterwards.
