The new issue of the Paul Mellon Centre newsletter PMC Notes is now published and available to pick up for free from the Centre.

The lead feature of this issue is an interview with Lynda Nead, the author of one of the latest PMC publications The Tiger in the Smoke. The publications theme continues with contributions from two recipients of PMC Publication Grants, Clare Backhouse and Jill Turnbull. The issue also includes a feature on the digitisation of the Centre's photographic archives, an overview of the first ever Bedford Square Festival and an introduction to the latest display The John Moores Painting Prize Catalogues.

PMC Notes 7 also includes regular features such as the events calendar, publications report and a PMC Profile interview with Research Fellow and Filmaker John Law.
