Publication: Keith Piper: Jet Black Futures

Keith Piper: Jet Black Futures is the first monograph on Keith Piper since Relocating the Remains was published by iniva in 1997.

Keith Piper’s creative practice is research driven and responds to specific social and political issues, historic relationships and geographical sites. Jet Black Futures, published by Cornerstone Publications, comprises of texts by both Piper and Anjalie Dalal-Clayton and explores Piper’s past and present practice by focusing on two exhibitions; Jet Black Futures at The New Art Gallery Walsall (14 January – 24 April 2022) and Body Politics. Works from 1982–2007 held at Wolverhampton Art Gallery (10 October – 1 December 2019). Whilst Jet Black Futures focused on new work, Body Politics brought together key works from the past.
