Ahead of the opening of the next round of fellowship opportunities, open for applications on Monday 22 November, we have made changes to our senior fellowships.
Previously designed to support an individual for nine months, the fellowship will now cover twelve months and in line with this, funding has increased to £60,000. The senior fellowships are designed to support academics, established scholars or senior museum professionals in the field of British art and architectural history either to complete a manuscript or book for publication or to undertake a sustained period of research towards a major project. The funding can be used towards replacement teaching or staff costs and paid directly to the fellow's university or institution, or awarded as a grant to an independent scholar.
