Sculpting Lives Podcast Series 2

The second series of the podcast Sculpting Lives will begin on Tuesday 2nd November.

In this new series hosts Jo Baring and Sarah Victoria Turner will be continuing the conversations of series one, exploring the under-representation of women artists in the histories of sculpture and also opening up new debates about gender and representation in contemporary life. They will look at historical artists Gertrude Hermes and Dora Gordine as well as interviewing contemporary artists including Veronica Ryan, Alison Wilding and Cathie Pilkington. The final episode of the series will be looking at the debates around public sculpture. Episodes have been recorded in a variety of a places, including museums and studios, creating a soundscape of sculptural practice.
