The Paul Mellon Centre is pleased to announce a collaboration with Terra Foundation as part of their new initiative to advance the intersection of digital humanities and the visual arts of the United States.
The Centre will be working with the Terra Foundation on the project "Objects in Motion", a series of interdisciplinary articles and features on cross-cultural dialogues between Britain and the United States which will be published in British Art Studies, the first of which is expected for Spring 2019.
"Objects in Motion" aims to explore the the physical and material circumstances by which art is transmitted, displaced, and recontextualized, creating new markets, audiences, and meanings. There is currently an open call for participation for this project, more information can be found here.
