In his role as Office Administrator, Stephen welcomes visitors to the Centre and ensures the smooth running and efficiency of the reception area. Stephen is the first point of contact for all enquiries within the Paul Mellon Centre. Alongside these duties, he works closely with the Director’s Assistant and the Office Manager, and assists the Event Manager in the coordination of the Centre's academic events.
Stephen has significant reception and administration experience and prior to joining the Centre he worked at Front of House for several different organisations including Trongate 103 Arts Centre, where he helped plan major arts events such as the Turner Prize and the Glasgow International Festival of Art. Outside of the Centre, Stephen is a writer. His work for the theatre has been performed at the Traverse in Edinburgh and his first full length play was long listed for the 2015 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
Stephen studied at the University of Glasgow and holds an MLitt in Creative Writing and an MA in Philosophy.
