As Grants & Fellowships Manager (Parental Leave Cover) Gareth's responsibilities include managing the administration of all grant and fellowship applications; managing and updating the online grants system; setting budgets and dealing with financial information; archiving, organising and acting as secretary for the PMC’s Advisory Council meetings; attending grant-supported events and activities and visiting fellowship recipients; and publicising the PMC’s Grants & Fellowships programme.
Gareth previously held the role of Grants Manager at John Ellerman Foundation, which focussed on programmatic grant making under the Performing Arts, Environment and Social Action. Before joining John Ellerman, Gareth worked as Programmes Manager at UK Community Foundations, the membership body for the 47 Community Foundations based across the UK and before that, as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at SHINE Trust, an educational charity that focussed on London and the Southeast.
Gareth has an MA in Art History from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
