Vicky Coombes

As Human Resources Manager, Vicky manages the Centre’s HR function ensuring that the Paul Mellon Centre (PMC) is compliant with both employment law and HR best practice. Vicky works with the Senior HR Advisor across the areas of policy development, recruitment and retention, staff development, employee relations and HR data reporting. Vicky also works closely with the Director, Chief Operating Officer and SLT to create an inspirational and respectful workplace culture where employees feel valued and included.

Before joining the PMC, Vicky worked in the role of HR Manager at UCL (University College London) and most recently in the role of HR Services & Data Manager / HR Business Partner at the Royal Ballet & Opera, Covent Garden. Vicky joined the PMC in 2025.
