Our spring programme follows the Yale calendar and is fifteen weeks in length. We start in January, take two weeks for a spring break and conclude the semester at the end of April.
Classes are taught four days a week and are either seminar style at the PMC or a trip to a relevant institution, site or location in or outside of London. The spring programme includes two three-day residential trips outside of London tied to at least one of your courses.
Yes, each course carries full Yale credit. Yale in London’s spring semester is equivalent to a semester of enrolment at Yale College and is not considered a Semester Abroad. Courses are typically listed as British Studies (BRST) but cross-listing is possible. Speak to your DUS if you would like to cross-list a
Yale-NUS students will need to transfer their credits after the conclusion of the semester. Please consult the CIPE office at Yale-NUS for more information on this process. Yale in London can assist students in obtaining transcripts for the transfer.
Yale students: you will be charged the usual rates for tuition and housing.
Yale-NUS students: you will be charged the but will need to pay for housing in London. For more information on the cost of housing and how to budget see Fees and Funding.
