British Art in Motion
Access
We are committed to ensuring that this opportunity is open and accessible to all, and there is a discretionary budget in place for access needs. If you are unsure whether our provision will cover your needs, we would be very happy to talk this through with you. Please contact our Network Manager, Bryony Botwright-Rance, at bbotwright-rance@paul-mellon-centre.ac.uk if you would like to discuss this further.
Travel and Accommodation
For the ten students who successfully progress to Round Two of the competition, the Paul Mellon Centre will provide funding to cover the cost of travel within the UK, up to four nights’ accommodation in London and subsistence. The Paul Mellon Centre will also fund students’ travel to London for the Film Festival, where the students’ films will be screened in December.
Equipment
The ten students who successfully progress to Round Two of the competition will each have access to a £500 fund to cover production costs, including licensing fees, equipment hire, travel to filming location, insurance and permissions to film on private properties, amongst other things. This will be held and administered by the Paul Mellon Centre.
