Generation Landscape
The project is intended to bring a host of fresh, critical perspectives to bear on a famous generation of landscape artists born in the 1770s and early 1780s, who include Turner, Constable, Cotman and Girtin. It is also aimed at looking anew at one of the most familiar and deeply-studied strands of British art: images of the landscape of the early nineteenth century.
