Katherine Gazzard is an AHRC-funded Collaborative Doctoral Partnership student at the University of East Anglia, the National Maritime Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. Her doctoral research looks at portraiture and the British naval officer, 1739–1805. She has also published on patronage and history painting in early nineteenth-century Britain.
Rosie Ram is an AHRC-funded PhD student at the Royal College of Art. Her thesis focuses on collaborative art practices in post-war Britain, 1945-65. This doctoral research draws on her ongoing work as archivist for the Nigel Henderson Estate.
