This online conference was held to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of The Photographers’ Gallery in 1971.
Across two weeks in November and December 2021, a series of talks, presentations and discussions showcased new research and practices focusing on the histories of photography in Britain over the last fifty years.
This conference was held entirely online and was a collaboration between the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and The Photographers’ Gallery.
