What does music look like? What are the interrelations between the sounds of popular music and the aesthetics and images they produce? In this series of four specially-commissioned talks, the artist Jeremy Deller has invited designers, musicians and writers to explore the look of music through presentations, discussion and conversation. Talks will take place in different venues in central London and will all start at 6.30pm.
Jeremy Deller will open the series with a talk on Wednesday 10th January which will explore this topic in relation to his own work and which will also introduce the speakers he has invited to contribute to “The Look of Music” series.
Please note that this event will take place in the Forbisher Auditorium 2, on Level 4 of the Barbican Centre.
