A PhD Toolkit | DRN Roundtable

This informal event is a chance to get to know other DRN members, share research, test out ideas, and find solidarity in your struggles. We invite attendees to give a short two-minute verbal presentation, introducing their current research and/or broader interests. We hope to share our research in a supportive setting, and provide a virtual community in response to the isolation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this event, we will also be launching our programme for the coming year. This will include British Art History in Practice, a series of roundtable discussions engaging with questions of 'Access,' 'Praxis,' and 'Care', designed to reflect some of the contemporary challenges facing doctoral researchers. Our programme will also include PhD Toolkit, a series of workshops designed to provide a space for network members to think through the issues raised at the roundtable discussions, and to reflect on how they might be relevant to their own work.
