Grey and blue clouded sky with city horizon and bird in top left corner Please join us for an evening discussing current research on landscape with Tim Barringer, Paul Mellon Professor and Chair of the Department of the History of Art at Yale University. The evening will feature a series of lively, five-minute presentations from members of the Paul Mellon Centre's Doctoral and Early Career Researchers Networks who will be sharing snapshots of their research on landscape by focusing on one image or object that speaks to some of the issues and ideas they are currently grappling with. There will be plenty of time for questions and conversations throughout the evening with refreshments and nibbles provided.

This specially-programmed DRN and ECR Network event at the Paul Mellon Centre complements Tim Barringer's 2019 Paul Mellon lecture series at the National Gallery, 'Global landscape in the age of Empire'.

The event is free to attend for DRN and ECR members but registration is required.
