Doctoral Researchers Network (DRN) Visit to Turner Prize at Towner Eastbourne

Join us for a visit to the 2023 Turner Prize Exhibition at Towner Eastbourne. The visit will begin with a behind-the-scenes tour of the art store, by an expert guide, to learn more about the works and artists in the Towner’s collection. This will be followed by an introduction to the Turner Prize Exhibition ahead of the announcement of the winner on 5 December. The Turner Prize aims to promote debate, engagement and enjoyment of the latest in contemporary British art and this year’s prize includes artists Jesse Darling, Ghislaine Leung, Rory Pilgrim and Barbara Walker. Following the introduction DRN members will have time to explore the exhibition at their leisure.
