ECRN Away Day: Impact and Engagement in Research

ECRN Events

  • 8 March 2024
  • 9:00 – 5:30 pm
  • Kaleider Studios, 45 Preston St, Exeter EX1 1DF

This event is part of the Paul Mellon Centre’s 2023/24 Early Career Researchers Network activities.

The ECRN's away day will be a vibrant day full of opportunities to learn from peers and experts, share emerging and new work, and meet others in the network. The session seeks to explore the relationship between localities, communities and places in the production of art and culture throughout history, and the development of the discipline of art history. We are also interested in the ways that art histories inform and shape contemporary local (art) ecologies and spaces. We are taking a broad understanding of the term “local ecologies”, and invite contributions from a wide range of theoretical, conceptual and historical paradigms, periods and geographical locations.
