Painting of woman in pink dress on small boat with five men fishing next to her This session explores the different aspects of job seeking with a PhD in British art: how to go about job hunting in art history, strategies for writing a strong application, how to prepare your CV for academic and non-academic roles, and what to expect at interview. Each speaker will deliver a brief presentation, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. The session will include a workshop looking at sample CVs and inviting attendees to consider their strengths and weaknesses.

Speakers: Dr Amy Tobin (Lecture in History of Art, University of Cambridge, and Curator of Exhibitions, Events and Research at Kettle's Yard); Dr Cicely Robinson (Brice Curator, Watts Gallery-Artists' Village); and one more to be confirmed.

The event is free to attend for DRN members but registration is required.
