Public speaking and networking skills are essential in aiding dissemination of research and to securing opportunities in the arts and humanities.
In this workshop, Jaz Marfo, certified career and public speaking coach, will offer insights and tips on public speaking, networking, and freelancing, developed through her learnings from her career. By the end of the session, you will develop a set of tools to improve your storytelling and presentation preparation, in addition to gaining tips on how to focus your mindset. Together these will help increase your confidence when presenting your ideas and research in public.
