The Leighton Network workshop day will be an interdisciplinary research day organised through the University of York's History of Art Department. This event focuses on the multifaceted, international networks around Leighton and allow students to share new avenues of research with other students and established scholars.

Rather than 20-minute formal papers, this event will feature 10-minute position papers from postgraduate students, each paired with a senior academic respondent. We will conclude the day with a round table with two postgraduates summarizing and responding to the day's proceedings and suggesting directions for the roundtable discussion.

Programme to follow shortly. Speakers include Professor Liz Prettejohn (York), Professor Jason Edwards (York), Dr. Ayla Lepine (Essex), Dr. Caroline Vout (Cambridge), and Patrick Baty (independent scholar).

Tickets are free. Please register as soon as possible as places are limited. Registration will close Friday 25 November. Refreshments provided.

The Leighton Network is generously funded by the British Art Research School and the Centre for Modern Studies.
